Short Course on the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring
Short Course on the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring™
Wednesday, January 28
MENTOR and its partner, the Center for Evidence Based-Mentoring at the University of Massachusetts-Boston, will present a special Short Course on the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring™ on Wednesday, January 28 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. The Elements are MENTOR’s signature contribution to the mentoring field serving as a guide to assist programs large and small to start and operate effective quality mentoring programs. The development of the 4th Edition of the Elements is currently underway! Come join us for a conversation and preview of the new version. A panel of experts, including Dr. Jean Rhodes and MENTOR’s Director of Knowledge Management Mike Garringer, will present the rationale behind each standard and discuss practical applications. More importantly, we are excited to hear the perspective of experienced and new programs from across the country! We look forward to engaging the audience in a dialogue around how to refine and update the Elements to be reflective of today’s practice. If you rely on the Elements in your work, you won’t want to miss this session! (Please note that late comers, including those attending Capitol Hill Day, are welcome to join the session at any point.). Registration for this free session is now open!
